Accessorizing at Target
So, I saw this Mossimo Supply Co. Large Crossbody handbag in Brown two weeks ago at Target and had the good sense to just buy it. It's sold out on-line, so I'd say it was a good call. (You can check to see if it's at your local Target though.) I feel like it has an equestrian vibe that I enjoy.

- Also, I managed to get these leopard shoes for $13 on sale a couple months ago. They definitely punch up an outfit and are totally worth the $24.99.
500 Days of Summer, 2 days of cute dressing
Modcloth has some super covetable dresses and one of these days I'm going to commit to actually buying one. In the meantime, here are two I would buy right now if money were no object:
The Teatime Traditions dress at Modcloth ($62.99) is just too cute. I love the sweetness of the bow mixed with the sophisticated color pallette. It's girly without being childish. | ![]() | |
The Little Bit Indie Rock dress ($69.99) at Modcloth totally channels Zooey Deschanel. I'd pair it with some unexpected accessories to keep it more cool girl chic than pure preppy. | ![]() |

Purple Work Look
This is the kind of thing I like to occasionally wear before Spring hits to give myself a little pastel-infused boost. Plus I like short sleeves all year long so this works for me.
Lavender button-front shirt from Old Navy ($17.50), Gray wide-legged trousers from Old Navy ($32.50), Eggplant ruffled purse by BCBGeneration ($87), Nine West "Lalia" shoes ($56)

Perfect New Year's Eve skirt, An Everyday Bag with Some Edge, and a New Book by My Favorite Author
Of course, not all my purchases have been sweetness and light. Here are a few more actual purchases with a little more bite. Also, I should note that I do not believe in paying full price! Prices are as listed, but they're not generally what I paid. I loves me some coupon action.

I like to let my clothes reflect my mood, and right now the mood is sweet and romantic. Over the past month, I've been carefully adding a few pieces to my collection. Here are a few of the sweetest new additions:
