Blue & Silver NYE Sparklers

So,  for me, New Year's Eve is all about metallics and sparkles. This Inge Christopher Yvette Crossbody ($285) is a perfect sparkly, silver bag for an evening on the town.

Of course, sparkles are available for much cheaper if you're so inclined. Then you can have them in multiple colors, including this lovely blue clutch from Forever 21 ($19.80).

Accessorizing at Target

So, I saw this Mossimo Supply Co. Large Crossbody handbag in Brown two weeks ago at Target and had the good sense to just buy it. It's sold out on-line, so I'd say it was a good call. (You can check to see if it's at your local Target though.) I feel like it has an equestrian vibe that I enjoy.

Also, I managed to get these leopard shoes for $13 on sale a couple months ago. They definitely punch up an outfit and are totally worth the $24.99.

Perfect New Year's Eve skirt, An Everyday Bag with Some Edge, and a New Book by My Favorite Author

Of course, not all my purchases have been sweetness and light. Here are a few more actual purchases with a little more bite. Also, I should note that I do not believe in paying full price! Prices are as listed, but they're not generally what I paid. I loves me some coupon action.

What would I buy on ebay today?

I've been on ebay all day, so I'm going to make my first entry dedicated to the world's largest internet auction--and what I would buy there right now. By no means am I suggesting that I would use all these pieces together at the same time. That would be... a bit much.

1.) I would buy this vintage leather Coach doctor bag because it's currently a steal at $40, vintage leather makes me feel less guilty than new leather, I'm a sucker for a big ol' purse where I can keep everything, and this shade of brown works in all seasons:

2.) I would buy this vintage turtle paperweight because it's cute, cheap, and reminds me of my pet turtle from childhood, whose name was Bow Tie:

3.) Keeping up the vintage trend, I would buy this vintage hat because I'm very fair and need to keep the sun away and this hat is just adorable:

4.) I would then take a risk on an unknown brand for these ultra-cheap blue suede high heels (Size 11 because of my big feet):

5.) And, last but not least, I would buy this pretty floral print dress from Calvin Klein because it's super summery, in a flattering cut, and I like the big bold floral:
